Time to get back to adding a few posts after a year of silence due to pressures of work and a pandemic ridden world. Now involved in the common problem for those of us in a .NET world, how to migrate our legacy clients onto more modern frameworks. I’m migrating a very large Financial Services ASP.NET framework (WEBFORMS/ASPX) to Angular 11 & .NET Core. Should be quite a few posts on the problems one faces with such a migration. So from tomorrow I will start posting again on the issues and what I did to get round them. I am sure there are many other solutions to the issues but thought it might help somebody else facing the same problems to read how I got round this thorny debacle.
